Method of administration and dosage Dosage and duration of treatment are determined by the doctor individually, depending on the degree of iron deficiency. Usually, adults and children over 12 years old are prescribed 1 capsule per day. Capsules should be taken whole, with a sufficient amount of water, during or after meals. Side effects In rare cases, side effects such as dyspepsia, nausea, constipation or diarrhea, abdominal pain may be observed. In very rare cases, allergic reactions are possible. Contraindications Contraindications include hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, and other conditions associated with excessive accumulation of iron in the body. It is also contraindicated in anemias not associated with iron deficiency.
