Hemoferron should be taken orally, preferably 30–40 minutes before meals. The dosage of the drug is carried out using a measuring cup or a dosing syringe. Adults and children over 12 years old are prescribed 15–20 ml/day once. For the treatment of iron and folate deficiency anemia in children under 12 years old, it is prescribed in the following doses (table): Age Daily dose of the drug, ml 6–9 months 5 10–12 months 7,5 1–3 years 10 4–6 years 12,5 7–10 years 15 The drug contains ethyl alcohol. The permissible concentration of ethyl alcohol in preparations for children is 0.5%. In this regard, the daily dose of the drug for children must be divided into 2 doses and mixed with a tablespoon of water. The duration of the treatment course is determined individually. The average duration of the treatment course is 1–3 months.
