Method of administration and dosage Orally. Capsules should be swallowed whole with a small amount of water, regardless of meal time. Symptomatic treatment of cognitive impairment in adults (memory impairment, decreased concentration and intellectual abilities) take 1 capsule 2–3 times a day. Complex therapy of dizziness of vestibular origin and symptomatic treatment of tinnitus (ringing or noise in the ears) for adults take 1 capsule 2 times a day (morning and evening). The first signs of improvement usually appear after 1 month. Treatment course is at least 3 months (especially for elderly patients). A repeat course is possible after consultation with a doctor. If a dose of the drug was missed or an insufficient amount was taken, the subsequent intake should be carried out as indicated in this instruction without any changes. Immune system disorders frequency unknown: hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylactic shock. Nervous system disorders very rare: headache, dizziness, insomnia. Ear and labyrinth disorders frequency unknown: hearing impairment. Gastrointestinal disorders very rare: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders very rare: allergic skin reactions (hyperemia, edema, skin itching, skin rash). In case of any adverse events, stop taking the drug and consult your doctor. Overdose Cases of overdose have not been registered to date. In case of overdose, treatment is symptomatic. Interaction with other medicinal products It is not recommended to use the drug for patients constantly taking acetylsalicylic acid, anticoagulants (direct and indirect action), as well as thiazide diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, anticonvulsants, gentamicin. Isolated cases of bleeding are possible in patients simultaneously taking blood-thinning drugs; the causal relationship of these bleedings with the intake of Ginkgo biloba preparations has not been confirmed. When used with antihypertensive agents, potentiation of the antihypertensive effect is possible. Simultaneous use of Ginkgo biloba preparations with efavirenz is not recommended, as its concentration in blood plasma may decrease due to induction of the CYP3A4 isoenzyme under the influence of Ginkgo biloba extract. Interaction studies with talinolol show that Ginkgo biloba extract can inhibit intestinal P-glycoproteins. This may increase the exposure of P-glycoprotein-sensitive drugs in the intestine, such as dabigatran, so caution should be exercised when using them simultaneously. Special instructions Do not exceed the recommended doses of the drug. If hypersensitivity reactions develop, stop using the drug. Before surgery, inform the doctor about the use of the drug. In case of frequent dizziness and tinnitus, consult a doctor. In case of sudden deterioration or loss of hearing, consult a doctor immediately. Patients with bleeding disorders (hemorrhagic diathesis) and patients receiving anticoagulant therapy should consult a doctor before starting therapy with the drug. It is not recommended to use the drug with ethanol. Against the background of the drug use, epileptic seizures may occur in patients suffering from epilepsy. Influence on the ability to drive vehicles, mechanisms During the period of taking the drug, caution should be exercised when performing potentially dangerous activities requiring increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms), and in case of adverse reactions, including dizziness, refrain from driving vehicles.
