Method of administration Externally – applied to the skin and rubbed in with light movements. Rectally – 2–5 ml as an enema, once a day, preferably 15-20 minutes after breakfast. Orally – as a 50% aqueous solution (prepared by mixing equal volumes of glycerin and cooled boiled or distilled water), at an initial dose of 1-1.5 g (2-3 ml of 50% solution) per kg of body weight. Subsequent doses (if necessary) are prescribed at a dose of 0.5 g (1 ml of 50% solution) per kg of body weight.
