Purpose: Subcutaneous insulin administration using insulin pens for diabetes mellitus. Contraindications: Reuse of a single needle (risk of dullness, deformation, and infection). Use only with compatible insulin pens. Method of administration: Screw the needle onto the insulin pen. Perform an air injection before administering insulin. Insert the needle subcutaneously at a 45–90° angle, hold for 6–10 seconds after injection. After injection, remove the needle and dispose of. Storage conditions: Store in a dry place at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.
