Method of administration and dosage The dosage is determined by the doctor individually, depending on the age and needs of the child. Usually, the recommended dose is a few drops per day. Drops can be added to milk, juice, or other liquid. Shake the bottle before use. Side effects In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible. When used in high doses, symptoms of vitamin D hypervitaminosis may be observed: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, vitamin D hypervitaminosis, increased calcium levels in the blood (hypercalcemia), increased calcium excretion in urine (hypercalciuria).
