Recommendations for use To increase daily fiber intake, take up to five (5) capsules, swallowing one (1) at a time, with 8 fl oz of water. Taking this supplement without enough liquid may cause it to lodge in the esophagus. See choking warning. Do not take if you have difficulty swallowing. Can be taken up to four (4) times daily or as directed by a physician. Individual results may vary. Ingredients Psyllium seed husk, gelatin. Contains <2%: magnesium stearate. Does not contain added salt, yeast, or preservatives. Warnings Consult a physician before starting use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or while taking medications, if you have any medical conditions, or are planning medical procedures. If adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the packaging is defective or its integrity is compromised. Store at room temperature. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Precautions and warnings Choking. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause it to swell and block the throat or esophagus. If you experience chest pain, nausea or vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Allergen warning. This product may cause an allergic reaction in people sensitive to psyllium. If you plan to take this product as part of a cholesterol-lowering program, consult a physician. If you are taking prescription medications, consult a physician before using this or any other fiber products. With increased fiber intake, you may experience changes in bowel habits and slight abdominal bloating. If you have recently experienced sudden changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, consult a physician before starting the product. If constipation lasts more than 7 days or rectal bleeding occurs, discontinue use of this product and consult a physician.
