Protevir is used internally and externally. When used internally, Protevir drops are applied to a piece of sugar (or a piece of bread). For adults, Protevir is used according to the scheme: 1st week - 5 drops 3 times/day; 2nd-3rd week - 10 drops 3 times/day; 4th week - 8 drops 3 times/day. 1 month after the last intake, the course of treatment can be repeated if necessary. The maximum daily dose for oral administration is 30 drops. Locally, Protevir is used in the form of vaginal tampons or lotions. To prepare vaginal tampons, 3 ml (72-75 drops) of Protevir must be diluted in 20 ml of physiological saline. Insert a gauze tampon moistened with the prepared solution into the vagina. The procedure is repeated 2 times/day. If a burning sensation occurs in the vagina, the amount of solvent must be doubled. The use of vaginal tampons should be continued until the signs of skin or mucous membrane damage disappear. The maximum duration is 14 days. To prepare lotions, 1.5 ml (36-38 drops) of Protevir must be diluted in 10 ml of physiological saline. Apply gauze moistened in the solution to the affected area of the mucous membrane or skin up to 3 times/day. The criterion for stopping is the disappearance of signs of skin or mucous membrane damage. The maximum duration should not exceed 14 days. The maximum daily dose for external use is 72 drops (3 ml). 100 ml contains: Active substances: Deschampsia cespitosa herb dry extract - 50 g. Calamagrostis epigejos herb dry extract - 50 g. Excipients: ethyl alcohol. Store in a dry, light-protected place at a temperature up to +25 °C and relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Keep out of reach of children.
