Smes detskaya Similac Gipoallergenniy instructions for use
Preparing a portion for one feeding:
Thoroughly wash the bottle, nipple, cap, measuring spoon, and all utensils that will be used in preparing the formula, then boil them for 5 minutes.
In a separate pot, boil water at a strong boil for 5 minutes. Wait until the water becomes warm (approximately +35 °C).
Pour the required amount of warm, previously boiled water into the sterilized bottle.
Fill the included measuring spoon with powder, then remove the excess powder ("the hill") using the blade of a clean knife.
Place one measuring spoon of powder for every 60 ml of water. Stir until completely dissolved. Check the temperature of the formula and feed the baby.
If you have prepared more formula than for one feeding, it should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature of +2 °C - +4 °C and used within 24 hours. After feeding begins, the taken portion of the formula should be used within 1 hour. After an hour, pour out the remainder.
Children older than 6 months should receive additional food, besides Similac Hypoallergenic 1 formula.
Approximate feeding schedule (if there are no other doctor's appointments):
from birth to 2 weeks: 60 ml of warm (previously boiled) water and 1 measuring spoon (without a hill);
from 2 weeks to 2 months: 120 ml of warm (previously boiled) water and 2 measuring spoons (without a hill);
from 2 months and older: 180 ml of warm (previously boiled) water and 3 measuring spoons (without a hill).
