Method of administration and dosage Orally. Adults and children over 12 years old – 1 dessert spoon (10 ml) 3-4 times a day; children from 2 to 12 years old – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3-4 times a day. Children under 2 years old – 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3-4 times a day. The duration of the treatment course is 7-10 days. If necessary, it is possible to increase the duration of the treatment course up to 2 weeks. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor. Side effects Allergic reactions, dyspeptic phenomena (heartburn, nausea, diarrhea) are possible. In rare cases, an increase in blood pressure, the appearance of peripheral edema are possible. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, breastfeeding period, children under 2 years old, sucrase/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, severe liver and kidney function disorders. Special instructions The preparation contains sugar, which should be taken into account by patients with diabetes mellitus and persons on a hypocaloric diet. The maximum daily dose of the preparation contains 12.0 g of sucrose. During the treatment period, it is necessary to be careful when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (due to the ethanol content).
