Therapeutic doses for mild and moderate avitaminosis for adults are up to 33000 IU per day, for hemeralopia, xerophthalmia, pigmentary retinitis - 50000-10000 IU per day. For children - 1000-5000 IU per day, depending on age. For skin diseases for adults - 50000-10000 IU per day, for children - 5000-10000-20000 IU per day. The daily dose for adults should not exceed 100000 IU.
