Method of administration and dosage Children from birth to 1 year: 1 ml (400 IU) per day. Children over 1 year and adults: dosage is determined by a doctor individually depending on the level of vitamin D3 in the blood. Drops can be added to food, drinks, or given directly from a spoon. Side effects In rare cases, allergic reactions are possible. When used in high doses, symptoms of vitamin D hypervitaminosis (loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weakness, irritability, increased calcium levels in blood and urine) may be observed.
