How to take (Dosage regimen)Such a high dosage is strictly not intended for daily intake. Standard treatment regimens (precise instructions should be given exclusively by your attending physician based on a 25(OH)D blood test):Frequency: Most often, the preparation is prescribed as 1 tablet once a week or once every two weeks.Rules of intake: The chewable tablet is taken in the first half of the day (morning or lunch) during or immediately after a meal containing fats. Fat-soluble vitamin D3 is absorbed much better this way.Duration: Usually, the course of therapeutic deficiency replenishment lasts from 4 to 8 weeks, after which the dose is reduced to a maintenance dose
