Indications: Creation of venous stasis during blood collection from a vein. Therapeutic procedures requiring temporary compression of a vein. Contraindications: Do not use if skin integrity is compromised at the application site. Do not use to stop arterial bleeding. Method of application: Apply the tourniquet above the blood collection site, tighten until moderate compression is achieved. Ask the patient to clench their fist. Remove immediately after needle insertion. Storage conditions: Store in a dry, cool place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
