Purpose: Temporary cessation of venous bleeding, preparation of the vein for venipuncture. Contraindications: Damaged or inflamed skin at the application site. In case of arterial bleeding, an arterial tourniquet is required. Method of application: Apply 10–15 cm proximal to the puncture site. Remove after the procedure. When stopping bleeding, loosen every 20–30 minutes. Storage conditions: Store in a dry place at a temperature from +5 °C to +30 °C. Disinfect after use.
