# ArzonApteka

> ArzonApteka is a medicine price-comparison marketplace for Uzbekistan. It shows medicine prices and availability across pharmacies and helps people find the nearest or the cheapest pharmacy. Users can then either reserve the medicines for pickup or save a shopping list. The site is available in Uzbek (default), Russian and English.

ArzonApteka is an information and comparison service. It does not give medical advice, diagnose conditions or recommend treatment. Information about medicines is provided for reference only and does not replace a consultation with a doctor or pharmacist.

How the service works:

- Search covers every region of Uzbekistan (the republic, Tashkent, the oblasts, and their cities and districts). Prices, availability and the list of pharmacies depend on the selected region.
- The price shown on a medicine is "from": the lowest price for one pack among pharmacies in the selected region. The exact total appears only after a pharmacy is chosen.
- Pharmacies send their own prices and stock data, and it changes during the day. ArzonApteka does not sell medicines itself.
- The cart works without an account. The service picks pharmacies that can supply the cart, and a pharmacy may cover only part of it.
- A booking is a reservation that the pharmacy confirms and holds for a limited time. The user picks it up by showing a QR code or giving the order number. A saved list does not reserve any stock.
- DMED is Uzbekistan's national electronic-prescription system. Scanning a DMED prescription QR code finds every medicine on it. Prescriptions often name an active ingredient (INN/MNN) rather than a brand, so several products can match.
- Each medicine is marked as over-the-counter or prescription-only. Prescription medicines must be shown to the pharmacist with a paper prescription.
- Sign-in is by phone number with an SMS code, or through Telegram. Search, pharmacies and the cart work without signing in.

URL structure: `https://arzonapteka.uz/{locale}/...`, where `{locale}` is `uz`, `ru` or `en`. Medicine and pharmacy slugs are the same in every language.
